Playback historical data

I am looking for a good solution to playback old historical data. I currently am using the connect to external data feed option and use the .net API. Since new kinetick end of day option is available, I was hoping to download data for a day, and then play it back. I am not sure what mechanism to use to do this. Any help will be appreciated.I am looking for consistant data play back.

This is absolutely possible within NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader has a tool called Market Replay where you can either download or record data for replay at anytime. NinjaTrader does store some replay data for popular Futures contracts that is available for download. Please note that not all instruments will be available for download. You can download market replay data by following these steps:

• Go to Control Center>File>Utilities>Download Replay Data
• Select the instrument and the date that you would like to download
• Click 'OK'
• Alternatively, if there is not data available for the instrument you have selected, you can also record Market Replay data. This setting can be enabled by following these steps:
• Go to Control Center>Tools>Options>Data tab
• Check 'Record for Market Replay'
• Click 'OK'
• Please note that when recording data for Market Replay, you will need to have that instrument open through a chart, Market Analyzer window, or any other window that does receive quotes. This replay data can then be replayed by going to Control Center>File>Connect>Market Replay Connection

Thanks for the info. I was just discovering this option. The tools have greatly improved in this version! The market replay worked really well. I was able to download data using Kinetick and my data feed. Thanks
