Encryption

Do any of you fellow ninja users run encryption software on your computer? I'm thinking of installing and running truecrypt software. I would probably install ninja on an encrypted volume. Would there be any issues I should be concerned of? Thanks in advance for any replies.

We have never ran any tests on using an encrypted hard drive, so we would not be able to offer any advice, however I'm sure another community member can share their experience.

If I do create an encrypted partition or volume, would I be able to install a second copy of ninja on the same computer?

So long as you install with a different user account, that should work.

I use both: Truecrypt based system partition and TrueCrypt containers mounted as drive after logon.

You should not notice any difference if you install Ninja Trader on an TC encrypted drive / partition. Some performance will be lost, when loading and storing data (e.g. populating a chart), but it will be hardly noticeable if you do not use a very old computer.
