Deutsche Boerse exchange symbol

Hi,

I want to set a new symbol on Instrument Manager from Deutsche Boerse. I'm getting data from IB and from their symbol lookup the exchange symbol is FWB that doesn't appear on the NT exchange list when I set a new symbol.

As an example, what is the right exchange for Siemens (SIE) ?

Hello,

In this case since its not natively supported. You would need to specify the exchange manually.

Heres how you do this:

Go into the instrument manager for the instrument and edit it.

Then in the misc tab go to the symbol map for IB.

There you should see the symbol for IB. This is fine leave this here.

Then add in the exchange like this:

|<EXCHANGE>

So end result would like like the following:

SIE|FWB

I cannot load historical data with these instructions. I'll try tomorrow during the session to see if I receive real-time data.

Deutsche Boerse exchange symbol

The session just started and I'm not receiving real-time data, neither historical. I don't receive any error message. Just a blank chart.

NT forces me to choose an exchange for each symbol. So, I chose Xetra as you can see on the screenshots I attach with the details of the settings.

When you input the symbol into IB what exchange is listed?

I tried just now and the only two stocks for SIE that pull up are on the IBIS exchange and there is one on the EBS exchange.

On TWS the IBIS excchange appears. IBIS is not no NT but Xetra. IBIS is the old name for Xetra but it doesn´t work with this selection

For symbol map please try SIE|IBIS , as it seems IB has not yet updated their exchange listing.

The symbol and exchange in NinjaTrader must match the symbol and exchange in TWS.
