    Problem deleting old Gomi Scripts

I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version of the Gomi Package.
I was watching a video on how to install it on Big Mikes Forum .
However It tells me to remove any older Gom Indicators prior to installing the new.

I navigate to the Custom Indicator folder and delete them.
My problem is that they are still showing up in the Indicator Menu in the charts and when i try to " Install Ninja Script" I cant as it now tells me that it won't import until compiling errors have been resolved.
I assume I have the compiling errors because i have removed the old Gom indicators but they are still appearing in the chart indicator menu??
    How do i fix this?
    Thanks
    Greg

Put the files back, then delete the indicators properly by using the dialog box when you execute the sequence: Tools --> Edit NinjaScript --> Indicator ...

      Thank you Kogonam

I managed to delete 2 of the 3 indis ok
However one is giving an error message

      >>"NT7/bin/custom/ indicator/GomRecorderIndicator.cs can't be deleted.
It is referenced by 'çs'. Please remove this dependency before deleting this file. <<

        Hi Grego,

You will have to delete in the correct order. It may take trial and error for this. Try with all indicators named Gomi. If you aren't able to identify the dependency, can manually delete from the hard drive. After performing any manual file deletions, will need to compile. Edit any indicator and then Right Click > Compile

I used the method described above by Kogonam and I cannot locate the two files that i deleted this way. They don't appear to be in my recycle bin.

There is only one file with Gomi in it left in the custom indi folder.
So if i cant locate the other two files and restore them in order to try and do the deletion in the correct order, as you describe...how can i get rid of this last file?

          Thanks

Indicator will either be source (.cs) files stored here:
            documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\custom\Indicators.

            Assembly (dll) files stored here:
            documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\custom

In addition to the file, assemblies have references that also must be deleted. Right Click in NS editor > References > Remove any Gomi.

If working with any files manually, you must always compile to see those changes reflected in NT system.

If you are not able to remove these indicators, please send a note to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com and we can arrange remote support.

              Ryan & Koganam

              I just worked it out

There was an indicator with a rather long name that i can't remember.
Something like "buysellVolumeG039..........." that must have had a reference in it to the Gomi indis.
Once i got rid of that and the other Gom Recorder indi I could then Recompile and import the new package of Gomi Indicators

              Thanks for your help
