NT 7 Update Not Working

NT 7 Update Not Working
I tried to download and install the latest NT7 update but it will not work, it downloaded and went through the install but never updated on NT... I tried again and it offered to repair the install or remove NT7... I tried repair multiple times and it will not work... Restarted NT7 each time and restarted the computer each time, no luck...

Thank you for your post.
It sounds like your windows temp cache is not updating the installer files, please follow the directions below to resolve.
a. Close all running applications.
b. From the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
c. From Add and Remove Programs select "NinjaTrader 7" and click Remove.
d. Clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies, Temp Internet File and History > Press "Delete").
e. Reboot your machine.
f. Once these steps are completed, download NinjaTrader from the link below:

Installation Instructions
Uninstall NinjaTrader Version 7.0.1000.7 via Windows Control Panel "Uninstall or change a program" (might be named Add/Remove/Programs)
Download and reinstall NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.7

i am about to purchase my license, and in the update notification that if you are running or going to run a live license you need to reupdate the last release.. i updated my NT to the current release within those first few hours that it came out, so should i do the uninstall and reinstall or just install over my current install?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Kyle View PostHi madLyfe,
Thanks for your post.
This extra step is typically not required for most upgrades. Simply shutting NinjaTrader down and installing over the existing copy is sufficient in most instances.

In this case specifically, you will need to uninstall before installing. The reason for this is that you're moving from 7.0.1000.7 to 7.0.1000.7. When the .8 upgrade is released, it should be possible to install over your existing version.
