    Text properties window always popping up

    Hello,

    Here's something that happens all the time:

    . press F12 to write text on a chart
    . close the Text properties window with OK button
    . move the newly written text with the mouse cursor anywhere on your chart
    . release mouse button
    . the Text properties window pops up again

    I have the cursor cross hair on and I'm using ninja 7.0.1000.6

    Thank you for your post.

    I have tested this on my end along with a few colleagues and unfortunately I am not seeing the same behavior.

    The text properties box only comes up on a double click.

    Do you have any mouse properties that adjusts the double click speed?

      I don't have any adjusted mouse properties and I actually tested this with 2 different mouses so it's not on the mouse...

        It could not be the mouse itself, but the Windows mouse properties.

        I was able to test on three computers here at the NinjaTrader office.

        You can find the 'Double-click Speed' property setting from the Windows Control Panel -> Mouse properties -> Buttons tab

        There is a section labeled 'Double-click Speed' with a slider to set the double click speed. If yours is set too fast then you may be seeing this issue. The Default setting is on the middle tick mark.

          It's not that.

          I set the double-click speed slider all the way back to the Slow setting and it still happens, also, it happens EVERYTIME I do the steps described.

          If you want I can show you as many times as you like.
