Daily Loss Limit

I am a discretionary trader. I wish to implement a daily loss limit of $800 in NinjaTrader so that I am prevented from trading further if I hit it my loss limit or as a failsafe in case I lose my internet connection.

Is this possible in NinjaTrader or is it done at the Broker end?
And if thats the case does anyone know which brokers allow this option.

This is currently not supported from a discretionary stand point in NinjaTrader. I'm not aware of any brokers that will lock your account after a daily loss limit.

NinjaTrader 7 does not include a feature of this type currently however this is something which could be created with custom programming.

Call your broker and ask for the Risk Manager, then discuss it with him.
