No Data in ^SP500 & SPY Charts?

Hello,

I just upgraded from 7.0.1000.1 to 7.0.1000.6 and when I pull up my old S&P 500 Workspace there is no data showing in the ^SP500 & SPY Charts.

The Historical Data Manager shows data back through 1996 for both data series and when I create a new chart in this Workspace for another data series (say, ^WLSH) then the new chart appears with my default layout and populated with data as I would expect.

As far as I can tell this situation only applies to the ^SP500 & SPY data series. I have reloaded the software and the outcome does not change.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? Any insights would be much appreciated.

Hello Dave Skram,

Unfortunately, there is a known issue in NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.6 which causes daily charts not to display data using most session templates. It is solved by using the 'Default 24/7' session template. Please make sure the 'Default 24/7' session template is selected in the daily chart. Please right click in the chart and select 'Data Series'. Set 'Session template' to 'Default 24/7' and check if you display price bars.

The issue will be fixed in the next version (7.0.1000.7) and does not occur in version 7.0.1000.5 either which is still available on our download page.
