    Possible to clear executions list?

Is it possible to clear or hide all executions from the previous trading day even though it's the same calendar day? E.g., it's 6 p.m. Chicago time: I don't want to see any ES or NQ trades from earlier in the day before 3:15 p.m. in the executions list, and I also don't want to see ZN trades before 4 p.m.

    Hi chisel,

    Thanks for your note.

Unfortunately, this isn't something which is possible by default. The only thing I could think to do which may meet your needs here is to clear the executions out of the database. If that's something you're interested in, please let me know if we're speaking of broker orders or orders in the Sim101 account.

        Hi chisel,

In that case, the database would need to be renamed.

Please rename your database by following the steps listed below. Doing so will cause NinjaTrader to create a new database on start up. Because of this,ATM strategy templates, custom instruments and instrument lists will need to be recreated. History from both your broker account and the Sim101 account will be cleared.

        To rename the database:
        • Shutdown NinjaTrader.
        • Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > DB folder.
        • Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename." *
        • Rename the file 'OLDNinjaTrader.sdf'.
        • Finally, restart NinjaTrader.

Since I'd have to recreate the things you listed, it's not worth the hassle. I was hoping that setting the session times in the Session Manager would do the trick, or that some type of button to "show/hide executions from previous trading session" could be easily created. Oh well. Thanks for the info though.

              Hello poeds,

I will forward your inquiry to save these items in a different location other than the database to development. Thank you for your feedback.

The suggestion to save these items outside the database has been assigned to ID# 1179.
