esignal historical data missing

Hi I have ninja connected to my esignal datafeed and for a stock on esignal i can see the data going back to feb 1990, but even if i set my ninja chart to data/custom range 01/01/1989 it only starts plotting candles from Jan 1991, shouldn't I get that 1990 data as well?

NinjaTrader will display all data that is available thru the data providers API. Can you tell me what instrument and time interval chart you are attempting to open so I may test on my end.

I have tested this on my end and only receive data starting in January 1991 as well. Unfortunately this indicates they do not offer additional data thru their API for this instrument.

When you say through their api, does tha mean then that they have the pre jan 1991 data for their charts but not for othe platforms like ninja...

Correct some data providers may show additional data on their platform and may not send this data thru their API which is where NInjaTrader receives its data.
