Blank Charts

For some strange reason, new charts I open are now totally blank....



This is Ninja 7.0.1000.6 64 bit with Kinetick running on an i7 machine.

I did recently delete all my historical data but that was because of this issue.

The Trace file shows the following when I open the chart:

2011-07-28 05:12:22:183 (Kinetick) Data.Bars.GetBarsNow: instrument='6E 09-11' from='2011-07-28' to='2011-07-28' period=1 Min splitAdjusted=False dividendAdjusted=False bars=0 session='CME FX Futures ETH'

Hi Pete, you're likely running into a known bug in the R6 release here, would it depend on which session template is selected for the chart (try for example Default 24 / 7)? Would the needed data be shown in the Historical Data Manager or not?

It would also be helpful if you could contact me via Help > Mail to Support including your trace / logs files.

Hi Bertrand

The 24/7 doesn't help and there is data in the historical data manager.

With this issue, if I leave the blank charts there, then close Ninja and save the workspace, when I open Ninja again, I can see the data.

Any ETA on the fix for the known issue?

Pete, the fix is included in the next NT7 update to R7. Unfortunately I could not give you a ETA at this point in time.
