JF, thanks for the file and timestamp info when you had the issue - would you mind retesting with a fresh database and newly setup Kinetick account connection and then see if you could still reproduce it along with those trace entries?

1. Remove your current Kinetick account connection via Tools > Account Connections
2. Exit NT7 and go to the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > DB folder
3. Rename NinjaTrader.sdf to NinjaTraderOld.sdf
4. Restart NT7 and recreate the Kinetick account connection
5. Then rerun your scripts and recheck the situation seen after a connection loss

Good morning,

I tried that with the firewall and the anitivirus turned off but it's off again.
The trace and log file are like the others.
So, i ask again is there a method which is called even if the datastream is frozen(obviously all the OnSomething() aren't called in this case)?

I've put try/catch and lock everywhere but no luck.
What sort of custom eventhandler could i use?

JF, the only method tracking the connection events would be OnConnectionStatus().

Does the trace file contain lines like the below again?

JF, this error would be different then compared to the prior ones - here you lost connection to the historical data servers, this error message typically is caused by either faulty network hardware loosing packets for example or security software / router firewall settings preventing a successful connection.
