ExitLongStopLimit on pre-market

Hi,

I'm on automated trading through IB TWS.

At the end of the session I want to set a stop order for precaution if on after-hours or on pre-market there is a reversal. I know that out of regular session hours only limit orders are operational.

I would like to know if I set a ExitLongStopLimit() order it will be operational on pre-market and will be executed.

Hi there, this is something you'll have to confirm with IB. What instruments are you trading and what sessions?

I'm tradign stocks at NYSE and NASDAQ

You would need to check and confirm with IB on this, but I strongly believe IB would simulate those on their servers if needed for you for NYSE / NASDAQ.
