Chart settings and background highlight.

Hello everyone,

please, I would like to know if there is any way to change the chart settings of the time axis.
I got the time expressed only in my operating system value. I would like the chart shows the exchange time not my system. Even I changed my system to Chicago Time (CST) the chart is always shown in my time zone(GMT+1).

In addition, I would like to know if is there a way to highlight the background of the chart in the way to highlight only hours I think It would be more liquidity in the market, the same functionality is provided by Trade Navigator, but I haven't been able to find out in the NT help and user guide .

I actually use demo version with AMP/CQG data feed.

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

1. After you have set your Local PC clock to CST close NinjaTrader and sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated and you may restart NinjaTrader.

2. This can be accomplished using the Strategy Wizard and set the Strategy action to color background.

Unfortunately the only option to achieve this currently is to create this strategy within the Strategy Wizard or have this programmed.
