Cannot cancel unmapped live order

Hi,

I have a pending submit live order and I cannot start a strategy till is cancelled. How to cance it manually?

Hello guilembm,

Can you please disconnect your data feed and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and select Repair DB.

Restart NinjaTrader and check if the order is still there once connected.

If so, the order will be removed once your broker reset their servers.

You could rename your database and it will remove the pending order right away, however all trade history will not be present in NinjaTrader anymore.

• Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
• Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> DB--> NinjaTrader.SDF.
• Right click on NinjaTrader.SDF and select "Rename". Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.SDF."
• Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use

This means that if I have open positions they will disappear from NT, even if they are open on TWS?

Position information is provided by IB and not calculated by NinjaTrader. So you will see your open positions using a fresh new database. Once you are connected to IB, NinjaTrader will load the positions from IB.
