Most Stable Platform for NT7

Hi There

We are going to take an Automated Strategy live soon and I am wondering what the most stable OS is to run NT7 on? In testing I am using Win 7 and Win 2008 R2 but NT has stopped responding a couple of times on the Win 2008 machine.

Windows 2008 is not listed. I assume you refer to Windows Server 2008.

Unfortunately, Windows 2008 is not officially supported. We did not test such an operating system.

However, we have other customers that run NinjaTrader on such an operating system without issue. Please see the forum thread below for an example.

Ask questions here and post bug reports.

Since you did experience issues when running NinjaTrader on Windows 2008, I suggest to use Windows 7.
