Very Stuck.... Want to Backtest MACD

Hello,

I would like to backtest going long or short when the MACD D Crosses Over or Under on a 14,17,9 MACD.

For use on the FTSE 100 Cash Daily Rolling.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much, is there a manual that I can follow, that covers setting up connections all the way to running a back test, I have downloaded some Replay Data I think but cannot get it to work
