    Lost a lot of data today

    I am on 7.0.1000.6 with a Windows 7 OS using Zen-Fire as my data feed. Everything was working fine until I closed my platform this evening. When I opened it back up, I am missing data from about 6am PDT today onward. I am using minute charts set for either 24/5 or 24/7 and every chart has the same issue. And if I open a new chart that I hadn't used in a long time, there is no historical data at all - just a blank chart - except current minute bars are printing.
    Just for kicks I tried to download market replay and I get a message saying the connection to the server is busy or not available right now. I have closed and re-opened Ninja and even re-booted. Nothing is giving me back my historical data. What to do?

    Hello sdcindy,

    Thank you for your post.

    There was an issue with a Historical Data server which has since been resolved.

    Please restart NinjaTrader and try either connecting to Zen-Fire and creating a chart or downloading Market Replay data.

        No data today

        hi,

        i have 7.0.1000.6 version and zen fire is my suplier.
        Todays data is not avaiable in the chart.

          Hello Pedro,

          Thank you for your post.

          Can you tell me the following:

          - What instrument have you selected?

          - Do you receive live data for this instrument in the SuperDOM or Time & Sales Window?

          - What chart interval is selected? (e.g. 5min, 4 range, etc.)

          - Is there an error message listed in the Log tab of the Control Center? If errors are found, please report.

            this problem hapens in all instruments.
            i recieve current prices, the problem is the historical prices, there is a gap between current price and yesterdays price.

              Are your charts set to show the overnight session?

              To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.

              Right click in your chart and select Data Series.

              In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.

              What happens if you reload all the historical data? Right click in your chart -> Reload All Historical Data.

                  Are there any 'Disconnect' related messages or errors in the 'Log' tab of the Control Center?

                  Also, can you provide a screen shot of your chart so I can get a clear view of what you are seeing.

                  To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

                    Can you see the gap in the chart?

                      Please check to see if you have the following settings applied.
                      • From the Control Center -> Tools -> Options -> Data tab
                      • Ensure that 'Get data from server' is checked
                      • Press 'OK'


                      • From the Control Center -> Tools -> Account Connection
                      • Select your Zen-Fire account
                      • Press 'Change'
                      • Press 'Next'
                      • Ensure that 'Historical Data' is Enabled
                      • Press 'Next'
                      • Press 'Next'
                      • Press 'Finish'
