Single Alerts

Hello Ninjas,

Is it possible to have an alert appear only once. I have configured an alert to pop up under a simple condition, however the alert keeps on popping up everytime the price changes. So if the alert could only appear once per bar that would be great.

I hope that makes sense.

Basically, I just need the alert to pop-up the one time it occurs - not for every tick.

Will this affect the way I recieve alerts?

Yes, as it would affect how the OnBarUpdate() triggering your Alert is called - try running the Alert code in FirstTickOfBar then - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ttickofbar.htm
