Error Message with IB

    Hi Jason,

    I have reset the instruments a number of times but I still on getting the same error message. Please see attached for the error messaga and details of the version I'm using.

    Please help

      You included a screenshot that displays the NinjaTrader version you have installed. However, we would like to know what TWS version you have installed. TWS is the trading platform IB uses.

          Hello carlton,

          No worries, thank you for taking the screenshot. Unfortunately, it does not display what TWS version you have installed. If you scroll down, you will see the TWS version number.

          What happens if you select the YM 09-11 in the Control Center-->Orders-tab - do you receive data?

          Do you receive data for the YM 09-11 in TWS?

              Thank you again for the screenshot. You have the proper TWS version installed.

              Could you please tell me if you receive data for the YM 09-11 in the Control Center-->Orders-tab. Do you receive data in TWS for the YM?

              Did you restart NinjaTrader after you reset the instruments? If not, please do so and check if the error message persists.

                I did restart after resetting instruments. And yes I can received data from the Orders tab in control centre....

                  Hello carlton,

                  Can you please send me your latest log and trace files. You can find these files at the following locations.

                  C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20110713 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

                  C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20110713 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

                  Please send them to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.
