Controlling NT Charts from External Applications

Quick question guys,

Does NT's API expose being able to load historical data and scroll/move a chart, all from calls by an external application?

I want to write a COM add-in for an external database so that viewing historical data in the database will synchronize the NT chart concurrently open with the data point in the database.

You can load and feed data from the external API. Please see this document that details what you can do with the API.

Actually that wasn't what I was asking - I just wanted to control the scrolling of the chart externally. However, your reply made me think of an alternative way to do it. I already wrote a tick server for NT a while back, so I can just use that to feed data and scroll that way.
