When I download market replay data is it tick by tick?

Yes, Market Replay data you download will be replayed tick by tick.

Please note that if make use of a high replay speed, charts can update entire bars on small time frames but this is due to the replay speed.

So what happens if I download market replay data for a day that only has minute data available?

All Market Replay data you download consists of tick data which is replayed tick by tick.

so if only minute data is available from the data provider, IE further back then the 120 day limit for Kinetick for tick data, then when I try to download Market replay data it will not download anything?

You will download Market Replay data from our server and not from your data feed such as Kinetick.

The 120 days of historical tick data cannot be used as Market Replay data. This is static historical data which you can load in charts.

Ah OK. Thats good to know. Then how far back can I go for FGBL, ZN, R (gilt futures)?

Unfortunately, I am not sure how much Market Replay data is available on the server. I suggest to check how much data you can download on your end. Please note that there is no Market Replay data available for the R (Long Gilt) futures.
