Bund March'11 (FGBLH1) and Esignal Problem

Hi There

Has anyone using eSignal as a feed managed to get a March 11 Bund chart up?

I have tried to get the chart up on the last 3 versions of NT without any luck. I can get it up in eSignal without a problem. I have the chart set to 1000 Day back and "Do not Merge".

Hello GKonheiser,

Unfortunately, this is a limitation with NinjaTrader/eSignal. Expired contracts require a different type of symbol mapping with eSignal which is not supported in NinjaTrader.

If you have have access to continuous data with eSignal, I suggest to use the FGBL ##-## in NinjaTrader which will load continuous data from eSignal. You can create an FGBL ##-## instrument in the Instrument Manager. Highlight the FGBL and set 'Expiry' to ##-## and click the arrow pointing to the left. Subsequently, create a new chart and check if the requested data is loaded in a chart.

thanks for the info. i have been trying to resolve this for a couple of days with some support staff. Would these limitations be there if I switched to Kinetick?

This limitation will not be there if you connect to Kinetick - it applies to eSignal only.
