And continues to be a thorn in my side. Hopefully if enough users will complain, NT will fix this problem. Who cares about the negative performance impact of drawing something, if I can't be sure that all of my drawings are even showing? Correctness should be a priority over performance.

Unfortunately, it will not work that way. Drawing objects are plotted as per the Y and time values as per their anchor points. The drawing object will be applied in charts with different period types using the same Y and time values.
ok im sorry, i cant seem to reproduce the issue today.. im guessing it was user error.. if it does happen again and i can reproduce it i will make a video and post it back in this thread for you.
    thanks again.

ok so if im drawing the trend line on a larger time frame and am trying to get the second anchor point to the most recent area on the chart so it displays on all of the charts, well if i click to lay the anchor and i do so over a price bar or an indicator the anchor reverts all the way back to where the first anchor was.. which is well out of frame from where my smaller charts would see it(the problem i was having).. fixed it by puting the second anchor close to where i wanted it, but on an empty space on the chart(no indicators/price bars) then adjusted it on the smaller time frame chart to where i really wanted it and then the anchor would stay there doing it that way..

maybe that makes more sense.. when i get home(on iphone in car) i can make a video showing the situation..

would be nice if the lines for drawings were drawn diff in the NT platform so that if a line is going through a price point and you can see that price on any chart then u will see the line no matter where the anchors are..

ok i had to redraw it a couple times to get it to stick where i wanted so that it would show up in the right spot(one of the two point you use to draw with) if i placed it over an indicator or on the price bars the point wouldnt sit there.. i had to make sure the second point of the line was on an empty space on the chart.. dunno if that makes sense..

Unfortunately, this can be as expected when comparing different range period types. Range bars are not bound by time while the Line object is drawn as per its Y and time anchor points. You can check these values in the Data-tab after double clicking the Line drawing object. These values will be the same in all three charts.
ah ok, do you happen to know why those lins wouldnt be plotting on my TF tick chart when the line is set to all TF charts?

Unfortunately we do not have something in the works to have this changed.

Anchor points of chart objects are placed in 'baskets'. This due to performance reasons.

Objects are only drawn when the basket is in the range of the displayed baskets.
If we would draw every object without the use of these baskets, it would have a negative performance impact.

that makes sense but sounds like a limitation. do you happen to know if there is something in the works where this would not be the case? so a line is a line and should be in view no matter where the chart is as long as its within price view.
