Missing Datas

Hi,
I've got my datas fed by IB and there's 15 minutes missing yesterday between 23:00 and 23:16 on the spot EUR/USD.
How can I get those datas back ?
It doesn't work when I reload historical datas.

Hello TheTrend,

Can you please tell me what time zone is used on your PC clock.

What session template do you have selected in the Data Series menu of the chart?

Does it load the missing data if you select the Forex session template and subsequently reload historical data?

Please create a brand new EURUSD minute chart and check if it loads the missing data as well.

When I test an EURUSD minute chart on my end while connected to IB, I do not experience data missing.

Time zone of my PC is UTC+1 (Paris).

I didn't have a session template and try forex and others, it doesn't change anything.

When I create a brand new chart the data is still missing and I have even found a greater problem: the data between 23:00 and 23:15 (in my Time zone) is missing everyday !!

By the way, extra question: how do I stop the error attached everytime I reload the datas ?

Could it be because I'm connected to the demo version of IB ?

Thank you for clarifying.

Unfortunately this is as expected. I experience 15 minutes of missing data as well on my end each day between 15:00 and 15:15 - my PC clock is set to US MDT time zone.

I suggest to contact IB for clarification why such data is not provided.

Unfortunately you cannot workaround the data limitation that IB has in place. You can only request so much historical data from IB. Please wait 5 minutes and you will be able to request additional data again.

FYI, here is their answer:

The Forex market is closed daily for 15 minutes. The trading hours for Forex are 17:15 - 17:00 (ET) Sunday-Friday.

This is why it appears as if you are missing data everyday between 23:00 and 23:15 (Paris Time).

Thank you for posting their answer. However, as far as I know forex trading occurs between these times as well. When I load an EURUSD chart using a different data feed provider, I load data between these times.

Absolutely right, that's why I was suprised no one paid attention before.
