chart trader - continuous symbol

Hi

I want to show contiunous contract ES ##-## and be able to see monthly data on my chart using esignal data feed for instance, but when I place a trade I want it to go to my broker for instance zen-fire.

1. So i connect to esignal first then zen-fire right?

2. But I want to place the trade using the chart trader, but it doesn't give me the option to choose which contract, will it place the order on the current contract?

Thank you for your post.

1.) Correct - connecting first to eSignal then to Zen-Fire would be the right order in your case.

2.) Chart Trader is linked to the main symbol the chart uses - in this case, that would be the untradable '##-##' expiry. You may need to use a secondary chart if you intend on using chart trader.
