Trend Channel drawing tool - cannot change default settings?

When I draw a trend channel using the new tool, I can't seem to change the default colors or settings for it. The default settings are shown in the attached picture. When I change colors, or select any other options, and then either click "OK" or click "Apply", it would seem to me that the Default option should be saved, and that any new trend channels should be drawn with the new settings. But instead, all new channels are drawn with the settings shown in the picture. I am on the latest version of NT 7.

Thank you for your post.

Use the following steps to save a Trend Channel template.
· After drawing a Trend Channel double click on the anchor dots
· In the Trend Channel Properties window set the custom colors, style and widths
· Press ‘Apply’
· Right click within the properties window -> Manage Templates
· Save as 'Default' or enter text and press 'Save'
· Press 'OK' to save changes and close the Trend Channel Properties window.

Thanks, that helped... just a suggestion though, you might want to make the "save default" option more obvious by including a button that says "save as default". It's not intuitively obvious that you have to right click and manage templates to save as the default option. If you look at my screenshot, it would seem reasonable that pressing OK would save the current settings as default, but that's not what happens. Thanks again!
