After paying to trade on IB, can no longer use MB Trading for data feed

Hi,

After evaluating NT7, I purchased a license to trade on IB. I had configured NT to pull market and historical data from MB Trading since the IB historical data feed doesn't provide volume data, among other problems. Now that I have entered the license it has been removed from my connections list.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your post.

Since MBT is a broker technology, you will not be able to connect to this feed using the IB license. Using a single broker license, only one broker technology can be connected. If you would like to connect to more than one broker, you can upgrade to a muti-broker license.

However, since you are looking for a feed to supplement your data, I would suggest going with a dedicated data provider such as Kinetick. Since Kinetick is not a broker, you can connect to both IB and Kinetick at the same time using your single broker license.
