How to NOT start in Sim Mode

How do I set NT so that it doesn't start in Sim mode?

This is set under tools > options > simulator > Always Start in Simulation.

That box was unchecked but it still starts in sim mode.

Sim mode means Global Simulation Mode is checked under the file menu.

Do you have a live NinjaTrader license and see Global Sim Mode selected when you first start NT?

That was unchecked as well. I'd have to restart NT to see. Will check it later. It's just annoying when you think you're in a real trade and you're not.

Try out not 'connect on startup' in your account connection. Launch Ninja, and then connect manually. I solved it this way.
