Can i use market replay to backtest a strategy?

If so, would I just run the strategy analyzer for the period that I have the narket replay data?

Hello kaywai,

Unfortunately, you cannot use the Market Replay connection in combination with the Strategy Analyzer. The Strategy Analyzer will use historical data to perform backtests and cannot use a realtime feed as data source.

You could always run your strategy in realtime while connected to the Market Replay connection via a chart or Control Center-->Strategies-tab.

In addition, if you right click the strategy in the Strategies-tab and you select 'Strategy Performance', you will open a seperate window to view realtime and/or historical performance data of the strategy.
