How to completely remove NT from Vista OS?

In addition to my personal NT7 set-up, I’ve installed NT7 on a work laptop. I will soon have to exchange this work laptop for another and would like to be certain that NT7 is completely erased from the laptop. How would I best go about removing it from a laptop running Windows Vista 32-bit?

I ask because I did a simple Windows “remove program” uninstall of NT7 a while ago, in order to upgrade NT7, and when I installed the most recent version of NT7, it installed with my full account details. I do not want somebody in the IT department at my firm to re-install NT7 and load my account, for instance.

    Thank you.

    Hello ephilip,

    Thank you for your post.

You will need to uninstall from Add/Remove programs and then manually delete your NinjaTrader 7 user directory.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall NinjaTrader:
    1. Close all running applications.
    2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
    3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
    4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
    5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
