5min candlesticks incorrect with IB feed

I'm having a problem where i have to constantly reload my 5 minute charts because the data is incorrect or something is wrong with the feed timing. i end up w/ gaps where they shouldn't be and totally different candles when I reload. seems like an issue with timing. what can i do to fix this?

How big are the differences? Are the small? Is it just with the closing time of the candles correct?

If so this is expected due to IB's data feed being a local time stamp on new bars. Which means your local time is slightly off for the time stamping of new bars. This link will explain:

You can adjust your seconds on your local time clock or get a data feed that supports native time stamps on their bars such as www.kinetick.com. Their data comes in with native time stamps therefor the bar will close based on the server time.

thanks for the response. yes, the problem appears to be the open and close of each candle may be off by 30 sec to 1 minute causing an entirely different candle in some cases. i will look into kinetick's feed.
