    Price Markers

Price Markers (e.g. of SMA) are displayed in tenth pips in forex which is very confusing. If you are looking at 1,45172 it is easy to confuse it with 1,4572. Is there any way to get rid of the tenth pip or to add a separator before it?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the note.

You can display forex any any notation you wish.

To change this please go to control center->tools->options->data tab->quote pips in setting.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

      But ...

Of course, if I set the control center->tools->options->data tab->quote pips to Pips it will solve the problem.
But... I want my quotes in half pips.
Strangely the result is, that the price markers are then displaying tenth pips instead of half pips.
Perhaps you could address this inconsistency in one of you future updates. I would suggest a field for price markers in the Chart Panel Properties.
Otherwise even a separation mark would help. Something like 1,4517'2 instead of the 1,45172.

        Hello,

I understand your question now thank you.

Yes this is expected. It actually has nothing to do with forex. It has to do with indicator values are calculated to be whole numbers and not rounded to the instrument size.

For example this also occurs on futures with the ES for example. ES can only quote in .25 increments. However you can have a SMA value of 1200.17 for example.

I will forward your recommendation to development. Thank You.

I'd love to have a flag that would allow me to say that the price markers for the indicator are rounded to the nearest tick. Just like in your ES example, the SMA would be 1200.25. Is there a way to do this without coding? I suppose I can possibly do the round if I modify the NinjaScript for the indicator?

            Hello,

No way to automatically do this in NinjaTrader. However you could do this in the NinjaScript and do the rounding for the output.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
