Disable strategy

Hello,

I couldn´t find in the video library how to disable a strategy with closing of positions (or maybe with entering a position). The sense would be that the strategy does open and close positions only one time to avoid problems when forgetting about strategy enabled.

First are you talking NinjaScript strategy or ATM Strategey?

So you want when you disable the strategy for the strategy to terminate any position the strategy may have open correct? Or do I not understand you fully?

thanks for your reply. No, I want the opposite - when positions are closed I want the NinjaScript strategy disabled for NO NEW entry.

You may wany to use this sample to help you with this. You can adapt this to be instead of losers to be just one trade win or lose.

Hi Brett,

your support is great - you don´t send me to a partner;-)

So let me do another question - in the backtesting with strategy analyzer I have the colored dashed lines for winning and losing trades. But in realtime trading with the strategy I don´t have the dashed lines but only triangles. Where can I set this for having the dashed lines also in the live trading with strategy.

Glad to help.

Unfortunately this is a limitation and is the difference between the strategy analyzer and live.

I can send this into development as a suggestion however.
