upgrade from 1000.2

I am on nt 7.0.1000.2 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I do not have windows7 sp1.

I saw the upgrade path here:

I am trying to upgrade to 7.0.1000.5 and have the following questions:


1) Can you please clarify if NT will ask me to do step4 to 14 as listed in the upgrade path?

2) After NT7 1000.5 installation, do I need to install SP1 in windows-7? Also,any other windows patches of .net I need to install?

Hello Achiever,

Yes, you will need to perform those steps when upgrading from version 1000.2 to 1000.5.

It is not required to install SP 1 for Windows 7, however you can do so once you installed version 1000.5. If you install SP 1 when you have 1000.2 installed, you will not be able to run NinjaTrader anymore.

Yes that is correct.

You will need to have .NET Framework 3.5 installed in order to run NinjaTrader.
