Why can't serious system designers do these few simple things?

For serious automated trade system designers, it would be so helpful and time-saving to be able to save a set of strategy grid settings and reload them at a later time.

The process of saving them to excel and then having to recheck every option and parameter is unnecessary, wastes massive amounts of time and is an ill-designed feature of NT.

We should also be able to save a set of indicator settings AND

I have a market analyzer column full of alerts and cell conditions - I should be able to easily duplicate this column so that I can simply change a single parameter - for instance the time frame I am putting the settings on.

NT should be much easier than it is. You guys need to hire some consultants who actually use your product.

Thanks Ryan. Yes, I know I can save them as a default but that doesn't really address the issue. I want to save them as a set and be able to recall them a week or a month later. We have two trading systems running with the same basic trade management. If I default everything to the one system, I then just have to re-do the other. Plus, as changes are made or time passes, I want to recall that set and see how they are working in the current market. Tons of reasons to be able to save a whole set without having to default single parameters.

Ryan, please add the ability to load that set of criteria into the Stategies tab - so if I create a new strategy for automated trading, I can have it set all the values from a saved set. That way, I don't have to re-enter all the criteria.
