New Int Bkrs Release 918.1 will not connect to NT

WHen I upgraded TWS tonite to 918.1 from 917.8 via the web download and tried to connect Ninja Trader to it I get an errror that says "Login failed: IB Adapter.StartTws cannot find Registry Key "Trader Workstation". So now Ninja Trader is unable to connect to TWS. I then downloaded the prior version 917.8 from the web, and tried to connect Ninja Trader and all worked perfectly. It seems TWS 918.1 has changed something it used to put in the registry so that Ninja Trader no longer works with the latest TWS release. The problem seems to occur with both the .1005 and also .1006 NT releases Please advise. I am attaching a picture of the error message from Ninja Trader.

Thanks for the forum post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums.

NinjaTrader only supporst IB 917. Therefor this is a possibility. Please only use TWS 917 with NinjaTrader at this time as we just updated out platform for this version of TWS.

Brett Thanks. I will stick with 917 for now. Is there any way we will be notified when NT7 becomes compatible with 918?

I found it - select previous from download page on IB - if it helps anyone else.

Right the download would be on our connection guide. The connection guide will always be updated and our release notes are updated when a new version is released.
