7.0.1000.6 - XP 64 Bit installion issue

Guys,
I am having the same issue I have had since you guys started releasing the beta version of 7 with upgrading the 64 bit version.
The 32 bit version works fine but the 64 bit does not install properly.
I have a work around but I was hoping by this time, we would be way past this issue.
I have to go to control panel, remove NT7 and then delete the NT7 directory.
Only then, can I install it and get the 64 bit version to install.
I know I am not the only one having this issue.
Very, very, very inconvenient.

Actually, the old work around did not correctly install the 64 bit version this time.
It is still broken.

Three times I have removed NT7.6 and removed the NT7 directory.
Still no 64 bit version.
Help!

You can find these in your (My) Documents folder in the folders:
1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.20110531.txt
2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log. 20110531.txt

There are no trace or log files.
I deleted the NT7 directory and re-installed NT7.6.
These directories are empty.

So, when upgrading to 1000.6 there is only a icon for NT 7 only that supports both 32 and 64 bits now (no separate icon to run 64 or 32 bit anymore)?

It automatically detects your computer as either 64 or 32 bit now?

There are still two separate icons.
One for 32 bit and one for 64 bit.
My issue was that the 64 bit version would not install correctly unless I jumped through extra hoops.
I now have 7.6 correctly installed.

I just installed 1000.6 and it only shows a NinjaTrader 7 icon and no NinjaTrader 64 bit icon and 32 bit icon as before...upgraded from NT 1000.2...any help?

I just fixed it...simply had to restart...I have 64 and 32 bit icons now...just FYI...
