don't see Vista mentioned in upgrade to 7.0005

do I have to follow step 2 if I have Vista on my laptop. This is all very confusing.

smbkmb, from which version are you upgrading then? Are you running any 3rd party assemblies?

i am using V7.0.1000.2

the only assemblies i am using are free Gom Volume Ladder and Gom CD from the NT forum

Those would just be custom indicators but no 'locked code' / 'protected' assemblies so you should be fine upgrading directly to R6.

get popup when try to run setup

my problem is when i try to run the setup, I get the popup that says I have to follow step 2, and I don't undersstand the directions and they don't seem to be for Vista. thanks for quick replys, by the way

thanks again for very quick reply with file. Do I need to uninstall current Ninja 7 before using this install or any thing else other than just open the file you sent? Will I be able to use 64 bit with the new installation? thanks

Yes, since you come up R2 please uninstall it via the Windows Control Panel and then install R6 via the link I gave you. If you're on 64 bit capable OS the 64 bit NT7 version would be installed automatically as well for you.
