    IB TWS911.3 HSI intraday data

    Dear Sirs,

    I have a live account in IB, trying to load the HSI intraday data.

    NT7 works ok on daily data, but it cannot load the intraday from IB.

    (TWS chart can show the intraday data)

    Could you please help to check is there anyway to fix it?

    Thanks for the forum post.

    I have had over 20+ people tonight have issues with loading historical data from IB. Some historical data comes in some does and some is stuck loading data. There are several of you having issues all at the same time. There there is most likely an historical data connectivity issue with IB at this time.

    I suggest at this time waiting until the morning and then rechecking and reconnecting. I might also suggest contacting your IB rep if you have one. However IB is usually very responsive to server issues and I suspect it to be resolved soon.

    Please check in with me if the problem is still occurring in the morning.

      Same here. NT 6.5 with IB feed. Always worked until today. Stuck on loading data for ages. Aborted. European indices seems to work all right. . CME currency futures and cash FX are updating but they can't load historical data, so charts have gaps.
      Any help appreciated, thanks

        Hi Brett,

        Are you sure it is the problem of IB server?

        The situation is that

        1) NT7 can display the daily chart (ticker - HSI)

        2) In TWS, it can display intraday chart (same ticker - HSI)

        3) In NT7, it cannot display intraday chart (same ticker - HSI)

        It seems IB server works fine, otherwise, TWS also cannot display the intraday chart, right?

        Also, NT7 works fine with IB in US market. I do not have this problem in US stocks.

          Hello Robert and gretrader,

          I was able to contact IB via IB chat and they informed me that they had issues with their historical data server.

          This causes historical minute data not to be loaded in 3rd party applications such as NinjaTrader that connect via the IB API.

          IB is aware of the issue and their developers are working on it. Once they fixed the issue, you will be able to load historical minute data again.

                Thanks for checking in.

                We have contacted IB and they state that they are still working on the issue. There is no ETA on when to expect a full resolution.

                    Hello vassil,

                    Yes, it seems the issue has been resolved. I am able to load historical minute data again when connected to IB as well as another customer reported at the forum thread below.


                    Please let us know if you still cannot load historical minute data when connected to IB.
