Here is a possible clue to the over sensitivity of auto scale on the trend channel tool in some cases...

Where you have a parallel line that will extend above or below the chart a fair amount (lines that do not extend much above or below are not as sensitive to vertical scale initially it seems)....you will find the parallel line is very sensitive to changing the chart scale vertically on the initial plot upon clicking the setup line....however...if you drag the parallel line down (still on the initial setup click)....then click to stabilize it someplace....then the next time you click the same parallel line to move it ....it becomes substantially less sensitive to vertical movement than it was initially and then behaves more like all other NT draw tools set to autoscale....it is only on the first initial setup that the parallel line can be overly sensitive to vertical scale movement and whip around the chart so easily....

Play around with this a bit and you will see how this works....whether this can be changed or whether you guys feel this is important enough to fuss with....well ...that is up to you....
