Zen-Fire Historical Data

Hi.

As I am aware you guys save Zen-Fire data on your servers for use as historical data for people with access to the Zen-Fire data feed. I have a couple of questions on the historical data you guys store.

How much data do you guys store on your servers for the most popular contracts CL, ES etc. (1 year)?
Is the data you save 24/7 data?
Does the data have any breaks in it (When you guys do maintenaince on your servers etc.)?

Basically I am trying to establish if the data is good enough to be used for thorough backtesting?

Hello Ash,

Unfortunately, we do not have information listed how much historical data is stored on the server. However, most popular instruments will have more than 1 year of historical data present.

Yes, data is 24/7 - as long as we receive real-time data from Zen-Fire, it is recorded.

There are usually no gaps in historical data, however it can occur that the server goes down and does not record data.
