Custom Note in Market Analyzer

Is there a way to add a column in Market Analyzer with my own custom note? Or perhaps it can be created using the Ninja Script Wizzard? Any advice?

Hi designer, unfortunately this would not be supported per default - as a hint you could probably look into modifying the default Description type found under MyDocuments\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\MarketAnalyzer.

What kind of file is it and how do I edit it?

It's a type file you would for example edit in Visual Studio - you might want to ask a NinjaScript consultant if you're not very familiar in programming.

They are expensive... This is an feature most other software like Tradestation and Multicharts, etc offer as a standard feature. Could that be a feature you can add in your next release?

Indicator columns in market analyzer can only display plots. Plots can only be numeric values. For a text description you would have to use similar structure to the market analyzer description file.

designer, unfortunately not as strategies could not be run from the MA - you would need to run an indicator then.

I was thinking, if you are managing a lot of strategies, it would be great to have a quick overview across product traded, positions, which order is currently working in the market for that product and that strategy etc. That would make everything easier from a monitoring perspective.
