Adding new instruments question

I am connected to Interactive Brokers as per the instructions in videos, connection is fine however when I want to add new instruments in NT7 Instrument Manager is not able to find the new instruments I search under "Name" ....nothing comes up, I tried Stocks, Futures, Currency. IM can only find instruments already in Ninja Trader not new ones... I tried the same steps as video in NT support site without luck. Please advice. I am connected to IB data feed in IB version as recommended by NT..

Thanks for the forum post.

NinjaTrader is only pre-loaded with the instruments that are most common. If you need to add a new instrument that is not something that is common this would need to be added manually. To get the contract information from IB you can use IB's TWS then right click on the control and select Contract Details to get the information needed.

Control Center->Tools->Instrument Manager->Add button.
