customising market analyser display

Hi there,

I want to customise the display within the market analyser screen. I have been told that the only way to do this is via custom programming.

What I want to do is for each time my selected stock, index, future, ticks either up or down, I want the row, or it can be a cell, to flash red for down, or green for up, then go back to neutral (no colour) once the price has moved.

so for one price tick up, one green flash, for one price tick down on red flash.

For a number of up ticks = a number of green flashes and so on.

When there is a big buy order or sell order being carried out I would expect to see a burst of flashes and this would give me an idea through the colour, what is going on in the market.

Is this do able?

You are able to do this but it does require custom NinjaScript programming.

is there a reason why I would only get data for the first 4 instruments? have not made any changes

Not sure as I don't know your setup. Which instruments your getting data for. Is the market closed for the instrument your trying to plot in the MA or just low volume as a trade must go through for it to show here.

Hi, is it possible to save the order in which instruments appear in the instrument list?

I am trying to view the top 15 stocks in the DAX by market cap, I sort them in MA, but each time I re load the MA and the instrument list, it un sorts them.

any ideas?

Make sure that you save the workspace when you close NinjaTrader with yourr sorting. This will save the column you have sorted.
