historical data, daily charts...

I'm having an issue with opentick. What is solid solution for getting daily data? opentick is pretty brutal sometimes. In fact, I have not been able to get up to date daily's. What is a viable alternative? I'd even pay

Most brokers will provide you with a free data feed for "paper" trading. I've tried this with a couple of different brokers (Mirus Futures & Amp Futures) who gave me Zen-Fire datafeeds to try out for a while.

I haven't gotten to the point of live trading yet, but each of them serviced me well on the live, simulated trading.

Unfortunately, Zen-Fire doesn't support daily prices, so this solution wouldn't work for you.

But, I suggest you call some of the other brokers to see if they support daily datafeeds. (See: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...ng_brokers.htm)

Can't you just use Yahoo for daily? That's what I did when I first installed NT and it worked fine.
