Equidistant Bar Spacing

I am trying to understand the equidistant bar spacing option under the properties menu in a chart. It seems that it can only be selected when a chart is first created, before any indicators are added? I have charts where this option ghosted out and some where it is available, and cannot figure out how it's best implemented. I need to use this option on 1 minute charts.

Hi Shamal,

You don't have access to change this when there is more than one series applied to the chart - having 1 min and 5 min on the same chart or MSFT and AAPL. With multiple series, the chart will use the same horizontal axis for all series, which means the space between bars won't be the same.

Ryan: thanks for your reply, I am using 3 time frames. Did not understand the MSFT / AAPL,, , did you mean ON MSFT or AApl?

Was just clarifying "multiple series", as in multiple time frames or multiple instruments on the same chart.
