If I run an automated strategy from the strategies tab and not a chart does NinjaTrader recorder the tick data for use in future backtesting?

Is there a limit to how many strategies can be running in the strategies tab? I have one strategy but want to run it across different currencies and timeframes.

Please remind me if running a live forex strategy vs. backtesting a forex strategy isn't there a difference in the programmed position size?

Hello teak2,

Yes, if you have Save Chart Data as Historical checked under tools > options > data. The real time data generated from running strategies in control center only will be saved.

The quantity of orders varies live compared to simulation or a backtest. For more info on this, please see the following link:
