Kinetick + IB

I connect with kinetick as my primary feed and run automated strategies to IB.
What happens when my strategy calls for a limit order, does ninja query IB's bid or ask data or does the order get placed based on the bid or ask of the kinetick data?

Also in the strategies tab when it says connection is IB does that mean the strategy is still run on the kinetick data feed as long as I connect to kinetick first?

If you connect to Kinetick first, then that is used for data, even though trade execution takes place in IB. Additional information on how NinjaTrader works with multiple connections is available here:
