    Kinetick time stamp

Does kinetick native time stamp get automatically converted to my local pc time on each incoming tick?

    Hello jrtrader,

    Thank you for your post.

That's correct - the data is adjusted to display using the timezone of your local PC.

A side question - If my pc is say 2 seconds slower than the kinectick feed, then will the bar still be painted based on the kinetick timestamp? (i.e. 2 seconds faster than my pc clock?)

        Hi jrtrader,

        Great question!

Kinetick data is timestamped at the server and would display based on that timestamp.

That's good to know. With IB's feed my pc and IB time was always off, causing bars to always be off by a a second or two.
